I was out for a leisurely boat ride along the Intercoastal in Ft. Lauderdale on Sunday. To be more precises, chugging along the New River. Below is the general map of the area that we were cruising. (We talked about this on the latest TDI Podcast)

Needless to say, there were some breathtaking homes along the way.

Over the past few years, there has been a series of smaller homes, each on one lot that are now knock-downs that have been transformed into mansions. Most of the new homes take up at least two parcels.
