The World’s Most Competitive Cities – New York Takes It!

In this Monday’s special edition of Investor’s Business Daily, there was an interesting chart series on the world’s most competitive cities. It stands to reason that the most mature are the oldest and furthest away from their own industrial revolution and those that have the greatest potential are ones with the largest populations.

U.S. and European cities are the most competitive overall when taking into account factors like human capital and financial maturity. But mid-size Chinese cities are emerging as tip drivers of economic growth.
