U.S.A. CDS Chart – Cost To Insure Our Debt Ramping

Now, the real interesting chart is that of the U.S. CDS spreads. As S&P downgraded the U.S. to negative watch AND put the government on notice that it will be stripped of its AAA status if it does not get its financial house in order by 2013, CDS spreads widened.

Of course the parade of government officials have been working the wires today,   stating that there is no worry and the U.S. will never default.

If you are in disagreement, there is insurance for that   that – even though it may cost a bit more today.
