World Market Returns – It Ain’t Pretty

As of today, the world markets are not looking so cheery. China is in a bear market and Spain is awfully close.

Over the past few weeks, it is looking like 2008 all over again. But this time there are some very significant differences. Economics are better in most countries (ex parts of Europe) and there are some very solid reasons to believe that earnings are stabile to growing for many compoanies.

That said, the external forces (Euro, Volcano and politics/reforms) are showing up as a general fear/disappointment with markets.

Note: Looking at the same table in local currencies will show an even worse scenario for many markets.
