Employment appears to be getting better. Of course depending on who you ask, there is either silver lining to all of this or a serious flaw in the data.
From our view, the latest NFP report, combined with the weekly initial claims is giving us some confidence that the U.S. economy is stabilizing. Now all we have to do is to find a fix to the never ending European debt fiasco and there is the potential for some sustainable level of employment growth – at least from the trends that have been developing.
