{"id":22611,"date":"2012-12-17T13:20:00","date_gmt":"2012-12-17T18:20:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.thedisciplinedinvestor.com\/blog\/?p=22611"},"modified":"2016-09-20T13:31:25","modified_gmt":"2016-09-20T17:31:25","slug":"gun-companies-taking-the-blame-for-mass-shootings-swhc-rgr-atk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thedisciplinedinvestor.com\/blog\/2012\/12\/17\/gun-companies-taking-the-blame-for-mass-shootings-swhc-rgr-atk\/","title":{"rendered":"Gun Companies Taking the Blame for Mass Shootings (SWHC) (RGR) (ATK)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The second amendment to the United States Constitutions states as follows:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p><!--more-->There have been heated debates as to how the government should regulate this amendment which have at one time included:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Banning Hollow Point Bullets capable of penetrating bulletproof vests<\/li>\n<li>Waiting periods imposed for the sale of handguns in order to complete background checks<\/li>\n<li>Ban on the sale of specific assault weapons<\/li>\n<li>Concealed weapons bans<\/li>\n<li>and many others<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>However, the trouble remains as America contends with mass shootings.
