Both have been very vocal and recently stated that the plan is a mistake:<\/p>\n<p>From Bloomberg:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>\u201cI think Operation Twist was a mistake,\u201d\u009d Fink said, referring to a program to lengthen the maturity of the Fed\u2018s bond portfolio. \u201cAnd any more form of quantitative easing I would find troublesome.\u201d\u009d Fink and Gross agreed that the only way to stimulate the U.S. economy is by fixing structural problems such as manufacturing jobs in the country.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI agree with almost everything that Bill says,\u201d\u009d Fink said. \u201cMy conclusion is just somewhat more optimistic than Bill\u2018s, but I see the same pitfalls.\u201d\u009d<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>What do you think?<\/p>\n[poll id=&#8221;14&#8243;]\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bill Gross and Larry Fink, two whose firms manage a whopping total of $4.7 trillion, seem to think that the FEDs recent foray into the Treasury markets is a waste of time.
