The prototype, <a href=\"http:\/\/apl.aip.org\/resource\/1\/applab\/v99\/i11\/p114102_s1\">described in Applied Physics Letters<\/a>, moves at speeds of about <!--more-->a centimetre per second.<\/p>\n<p>Improvements to the design could raise that to as much as a metre per second.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">See full article <a
