Kevin Hoffmann<\/strong> discusses some techniques on screening<\/strong> <\/a>for investment ideas. Kevin Hoffmann<\/strong> is a key member of the Horowitz & Company<\/a> team. Kevin began his financial career in May of 2001 working on the floor of the<\/strong> Chicago Board of Trade. Kevin heads research and analytics for <\/strong>Horowitz & Company.<\/strong><\/p>\n

While attending the University of Wisconsin at Madison, he served a Financial Consultants Internship with Smith Barney. In 2004 Kevin graduated from UW-Madison with a bachelor\u2018s degree in Personal Finance and assumed a position as a derivatives trader for BMT Trading Group \/ Gelber Group. By October of 2005 he quickly rose the ranks to a Financial Planning Analyst for JMG Financial Group where he assisted with Financial & Tax Planning as well as Investment Management for high net worth clientele.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\"\"W. Scott O\u2018Neil<\/strong> is originally from Los Angeles, California. He graduated from Loyola Marymount University with a degree in Business Management and is a 1994 graduate of the Harvard Business School\u2018s Program for Management Development. He has over 25 years experience in the financial industry.Mr. O\u2018Neil joined Investor\u2018s Business Daily in 1986 where he spent 14 years heading Investor\u2018s Business Daily\u2018s operations. He also served as IBD\u2018s director of marketing and advertising sales and was instrumental in creating the newspaper\u2018s telemarketing operation.<\/p>\n

In 1994, he was promoted to Publisher of IBD overseeing all aspects of the newspaper. In 2000, he transferred to the Portfolio Management Division of William O\u2018Neil + Co. where he continues to be one of the top producing Portfolio Managers for the firm.<\/p>\n

In 2008, Mr. O\u2018Neil was named President of MarketSmith, Incorporated where he is currently working to launch the next generation of the Daily Graphs Online product, MarketSmith.<\/p>\n

Mr. O\u2018Neil continues to be a regular speaker for the IBD CAN SLIM workshops and a frequent guest lecturer at individual investor industry events around the country.<\/p>\n
