Madoff Investment Securities. Is it me or did this all happen REALLY fast?<\/p>\n<p>As I live in South Florida, you can just imagine the horror stories I have been hearing. It is quite remarkable. I have been told that charities have already closed, special programs canceled, entire families are wondering what to do next and there is a general sense of disbelief.<\/p>\n<p>It is terrible mark on an industry that is already looked upon as crooks and thieves. Once the breadth and depth of this tragedy is uncovered, I fear that confidence in the market will be significantly strained.
