Retail sales numbers came in disappointing. That should have been enough to have markets on its heels, but it only took a slight tick down. The Bernanke put is obviously working. Even with a downbeat sentiment report from last week, the sellers were not able to move markets by much in the early part of the trading day.

The biggest concern is with the drop in building materials as this is an area that has been seeing strength.
