Print media has seen a disturbing trend of late. Ad revenue is dropping like a rock.
Could it be a simple as the fact that online versions are taking the spotlight? Sure.
But how about the fact that most ads are somewhat inefficient? Also, it is probably because newspapers and magazine reporting has gone to the dogs. (sorry dogs)
Where we used to get our trusted information is no longer a unbiased source. Maybe the industry should wake up and realize that in order for readers to frequent their advertisers, they need to writing needs to be a trusted source. No more shaping of the headlines and go back to using reliable, named sources.
